A modular, flexible, and traveling exhibition conceived to celebrate Treccani’s centenary worldwide in 2025
Dotdotdot has conceived, developed, and art-directed Palazzo Treccani, a traveling exhibition curated by the prestigious cultural institution to mark its 100th anniversary in 2025.
Palazzo Treccani is an immersive, multifaceted, polyphonic, and participatory experience that narrates Treccani's evolution - from its origins to its transformation into a dynamic cultural network - through contemporary language and emotionally engaging interactions.
The exhibition concept draws inspiration from the metaphor of the Encyclopedic Palace, the ideal museum imagined in 1955 by artist Marino Auriti as a space capable of gathering all human knowledge, organized into systems of understanding.
The result is a series of spaces - a Façade, a Studiolo, a Corridor of Knowledge, a Gallery of Knowledge, a Courtyard for encounters, a Salotto for (im)possible conversations, and more - that Treccani can showcase collectively or as standalone rooms in various locations worldwide. Together, they weave a narrative that intertwines history, culture, science, and society, exploring the diverse realities that animate the Treccani galaxy today.
